hey all you workout junkies, this one is 4U; this is "MY WORKOUT PRESCRIPTION"--use it at your own risk ;) and consult your doctor before getting of that couch...ouch autor of this post in NOT responsible for any claims explicit or implied... 1. right before bed (8pm) glass of red wine (Cab/Merlot/Malbec) 2. around 3am I have a 1/2 glass of red wine (Cab/Merlot/Malbec) with 300mg of CoQ-10 3. anytime between 5am-7am start the day with one cappucino w/ 2x espresso to wake up i take one liquid hi-absorbtion Co-Q10 (100mg) and one 80mg Aspirine pill warm up thoroughly (!) and stretch lightly (min 10-20min) all joints (just move around mainly to regain muscle flexibility after the night, stretching to much your joints before the exercise causes micro-tears and it can result in a subsequent injury, stretch joints after the workout to your likings; always remember--stretch with patience, go slow, it takes time) my pre-workout mix: 1/2-3/4 scoop of Jack3d (depending on my energy levels) 1/4-1/3 scoop of Cytomax in a glass of water 30 min before the workout + 300mg of CoQ-10 (always have few of these ready and 3-4 potassium (100mg) pills handy depending how my heart feels and my body sweats during the workout--which is a function of wind and ambient temp) my workout mix: for a 30 min workout mix 1/2-1 scoop of Jack3d 1 scoop of Cytomax 1 packet of electrolytes a pinch of magnesium into 3/4 litre of water for a longer workout (1-2+ hrs) mix 1 scoop of Jack3d 2 scoops of Cytomax 1-2 packets of electrolytes a pinch of magnesium one scoop of collagen powder 1 cup of juice (Green or Blue Machine)--one w/ no sugar/ no corn syrup/etc/and no shit into total of 1-1.5 litre solution now make sure you enjoy your self-induced lactic acid OD when your muscles burn and seem to swell like a sponge- -congrats, you are doing it right! when you have a stinging joint pain--slow down or stop! you are hurting yourself! 4. make sure to have a small snack shortly after the workout (I do a glass of red wine (Cab/Merlot/Malbec) and a small black bread sandwitch with deli) after/while eating you have a good oppotunity to take some supplements which cannot be taken on empty stomach (3ple-flex, mega red joint w/ HA, reservartol, and something for prostate health for men and for ladies evening primrose oil ;) etc) 5. and have a 16oz lager to chill while cooling down after the (hot then cold) shower and one final comment: i seldom listen to music while working out i think listening to music is detrimental superficially it appears to help while in reality distracts and defocuses from reaching the maximum possible effort; normally if i need to be super focused i have ear plugs (the ones one uses for shooting) and listen to my own heart beats and breathing--this is amazingly soothing and focusing at the same time, you listen to your own music made by your own body --what a novel concept, cool, huh? I thought so
