hey yall please heed this warning I thought it was just a old wives tale until I witnessed it first thing this morning. my very first customer came in paid for ten in gas, and my grocery guy was there delivering my groceries we are standing there chatting and I look out and there are flames shooting higher than the pumps, the guy runs and the grocery guy says penny where is the fire extinguisher and he asked 3 times cuz I was in shock then slapped his hands in my face and said penny where is it I said round the corner hanging on the wall, I hit the emergency switch to turn pumps off he ran outside cuz the flames were still jumping he put it out the guy came in thank god it just singed his hair off his arms and his face but he said his face was burning really bad I got him some ice asked if he wanted me to call ambulance he said no his friend was on the way I said what happened did you light a smoke or something he said no, I was standing there and the alarm went off on my cell phone next thing I know is a ball of fire came out shot thru me and I just took off running. I am one who is really bad for this and the thing that scared me the worst was his phone was identical to mine, so please if you are at a gas station and pumping gas it is not a myth it can cause a fire. my phone will be in the car from now on nowhere on me, please please do this a lady came in and said it should be posted I said it is on every single pump people just dont take the time to read them or like me think it couldnt happen to them, but in the 15 yrs I have been in management I have never ever seen it happen. so to everyone I love and even if I dont know you that well please please keep your phone in your car, his was in his pocket and I praise god that he wasnt more seriously hurt he said he sure will be finding a church this sunday to give god praise, this has really freaked me out today, got home and Richard just held me cuz I was still so upset about it. I love you all very much each and everyone of you please believe it can happen.
