hi folks RE MUM !! X many of you guys will know that my mum had vascular dementia diagnosed some time ago ,after battling on we eventually had to find mum a nursing home locally, her symptoms in a negative sense developed very quickly both mentally and physically she had had great difficulty in her awareness of many things of course even family which im sure many of you know has been very painful , particularly for dear dad , very recently after huge weight loss she became really very ill, and some short days ago lost consciousness , we had been on constant vigils between us and the staff at st quenten nursing home ,whos care compassion and professionalism has been quite outstanding ! for which we are all hugely thankful xxx sadly after a stoic battle mum quietly and peacefully left us 2 nights for a place of painless rest, in the company of those we know as her family she has missed for so many years , her mum and dad,with whom as a Christian person she will have known were waiting im sure x we are coping ourselves as best as poss and so very aware of the pain my dad must be feeling In particular ,we can only imagine, if that, despite our own loss,what he must be feeling.!! I would like to say a huge thankyou myself to all the friends who have been, and are still being such incredible supports to me and my family !!! I wld just like to say a particular thankyou to phil barber, who only lost his own dad a very short time a go too, Richard lamont,dear lily,valentina, and cambell in whose company I was when I first heard from dad on the evening of mums passing, but also to martin bell,who has become such a dear and valued friend in the relatively short time I have known him and an encouragement too in so many ways and of course gilly whos friendship has been always valued far more than I can describe !! also all the folk who were fellow Christmas evers last night your gentle words of support and love were profoundly felt THANKYOU GUYS XXXXXXXX GAV
