hi friends happy diwali, writing this to share that last day of my life having been very very informative when whole world was lighting the lamp, i was trying to lite myself up with something which i wanted to know from the day one its been trending , with help of various sites and videos came across some interesting facts which some of you out there might know and a lot would not know about it just thought should share what all I came to know........from the day its trending we are hearing stories like its been made in 74 millions dollar, cheaper than what hollywood took to make movie to going to space, cheaper than 1km per autorickshaw etc etc .. Some facts which i found it more interesting than the above ISRO is 4th space agency to reach mars after Soviet space programme (USSR), NASA (USA)and European space agenicies (EUROPEAN UNION) First Asian country to do so. Japan (1998) and china (2011) both failed in its first and only attempt . USSR almost took 9 attempts, US also failed in its few attempts. SO INDIA is first nation to reach Mars orbit on its very first attempt. MAVEN nasas orbiter reached mars on 22 september just 2 days before INDIAN MANGALYAAN . MAVEN project cost is 671 millions dollars. 9 times more than ours mars mission project . Some of incredible facts are US used Russian equipment to reach there Japan used its own equipment and failed China used Russian equipment and failed INDIA developed entire programme and equipment The spacecraft is currently being monitored with support from Indian Deep Space Network (IDSN) antennae at Byalalu( karnataka). i heard this village name first time. and most important fact how we did it at such a low cost We used GRAVITY along with a powerful launcher (PSLV), yes you heard it right we used earth gravity to gather speed , sun gravity to travel and mars gravity to get closer to it . isnt interesting the ISRO has made the best use of something which is available for free .....
