hope this comes out big enough to see - it was taken on 20 April 1972, just before the demo squad moved in. It was the old junior school. I spent the first year in the juniors in this bottom building with Miss Horridge, then to Mr Guyford (remember his glass eye - he used to take it out and polish it while we were all supposed to have our eyes closed, saying the Lords prayer.) My last year in juniors was spent travelling round the villlage . . the new church hall, then the chapel opposite the police station, then the last term in the new school in Fairfield Drive. Can you see the building on the left of the telegraph pole? Its the clinic now, but back then it was Mr Stephensons solicitors office.
