how do you feel about cliffhangers? As a reader, Im a bit like the green fellow, below - sometimes they are SO maddening! And sometimes even annoy me enough that I dont want to read the next one. But as a writer, sometimes I know - from a story point of view, that is kind of the way it needs to be. I think this was true of Slated. Im planning something new just now (a series that I may or may not end up writing), and contemplating this very issue.
