https://facebook/WhatsReallyGonnaHappenPro Just a little hobby of mine that is growing into its toddler phase! November 16, 2013 is two years old to the day. WRGH Promotions is gonna celebrate at Cooks Cafe. But, before those festivities can commence there is a little work that must happen. Mainly, October 29, 2013 has to arrive bringing 3 amazing local groups and 1 fantastic Pennsylvanian quintet inside Cherry Street Station. Bringing me to my next thought: Crown of Scorn and their soon to be former guitarist and contact man. I havent had the opportunity to know Rob for that long, just a random hey or sup every now and again if we happened to be at the street at the same time. But, as fate would have it Rob attended Metapocalypse in support of Vitos (former bassist of COS) project No Honor Among Thieves. Towards the end of the of the event Rob came up to me with this big smile and said hey my band is almost ready to play out. I like this thing that you do, and I want you to break us out. After the initial rush of wow factor to my brain, I pulled Vito Flammia aside and quickly bounced some ideas his way. Before that evening was done, we had procured 3 kickass bands to support in The Green Invaders, No Honor Among Thieves and heavy hitters Under A Serpent Sun. And as luck would have it John Gagne (sorry if I butchered your name dude) of Vena Amoris (CT) was in attendance, I was able to give him an official invite to come on board with this idea. We had been looking for an opportunity to work together for a bit. So with 3 solids and a maybe, Crown of Scorn had a line up and a half (in my opinion) to break out with. I had a great feeling. Then comes the day of the show. Rob shows up and rubs his hands together and shrugs his shoulders like a thousand times little guy was nervous! But being who he was, Rob was sayin he was alright. In fact I think I was more nervous, being the promoter for that very moment, that very situation was the reason I took up the hobby: To break out bands, introduce new talent to the world, nothing in this world gives me a better sense of accomplishment and success. With that being said, Crown of Scorn had a packed floor for their very first showing ever. Alan Selavka of https://metalcyndicate-ct couldnt even get through the crowded doorway at the entrance. Luckily, to enjoy COS, one just simply needs to be in the parking lot. The gear that those guys rock is insanely loud, I mean rivals most signed and endorsed artists. Long story short, it was almost like a fairy tale beginning, and I would be lying if I didnt say that I had insane thoughts of being the promoter that stuck with this band from first show til the fellas called it quits. And my insane thought can still be attained, but that is not the point I rambling on about. Rob, I want to thank you publicly for introducing me to your band, your network of friends and a new vision that has given me a new drive and renewed focus and determination in striving to be the premiere go to promoter for the state of CTs local and underground music scene. Rob, thanks for leaving your imprint on all of us. I look forward to your final COS event- our last event together.... for now... As for the rest of COS, I hope that you guys know that I will be readily available to help you guys out with any thing you may need. October 29, 2013 Whats Really Gonna Happen Promotions very proudly presnts: The Scream The Truth Tour 2013 featuring: Crown of Scorn, The color of Valor, The Green Invaders, and No Honor Among Thieves. Lets give him a huge send off and make him ask his new employer if there was any way he could work from home! -Joe Latham Whats Really Gonna Happen Entertainment for the eyes as well as the ears.
