Greg Cook Sj ADVICE [1], pending the decision of the people [democracy, you understand] and John Levi’s announcement for tomorrow: - RED ZONE — you can join First Nation Leaders on the road to block the passage of the thumper trucks and likely get arrested YELLOW ZONE — you can stand as direct observers, on the shoulder of the road, but not in the passage of the thumper trucks with a slight chance of getting arrested or, GREEN ZONE — you can stand as an observer completely off the road with no chance of getting arrested Pick one but above all, please come to bear witness to the sacrifices that some of your fellow New Brunswickers are prepared to make in reclaiming democracy for all of us here in New Brunswick. To date and for this particular event, there has been an outpouring of support from the local community in the form of food, tents, and so on, so just come as you are. When not confronted by police the event has been a fun and joyous celebration of solidarity and friendship. Even in the difficult moments these circumstances have created a sense of deep solidarity among our diverse but committed individuals and communities. A tool kit for those communities in New Brunswick that are planning to organize, as 30 have already in the alliance resisting shale gas development in the province. beautifultrouble.org/tactic/ FURTHER ADVICE [2] – People farom various points are preparing to come in, Advice: - Reid Gilker It may be advisable for anyone there with a camera to take an Individual picture of each police officer that is standing there enforcing this operation, and then group settings with them in it. We all know the consequences of what can take place to the water, air and environment can be, when fracking takes place. These individual pictures of these officers will verify these officers’ personal presents, and hold them accountable for adding and abetting this company to commit a crime if peoples water start to get contaminated by their actions, and court cases start over it, you will have exact proof as to who was there. Something to think about. As to my knowledge there is no law in place in this country that allows anyone or company to destroy and contaminate the environment by using controversial practices that are known to do so. Our prayers are with you people, Stand Strong!, You are Not in the Wrong here by wanting this stopped, and many eyes from all over Canada and abroad are watching this situation unfold. In Solidarity, PEACE
