Every woman has the right to walk anywhere without harassment or fear. We as women need to stand up and support all women around the world who dont have the freedom to dress how they choose. We were all born free to choose, Men and women. It is up to we mothers of today to teach and nuture our sons that it is right to allow a woman choice. That is doesnt make him a weaker man nor threaten him in anyway that a woman walks free to choose. When we as mothers raise sons who truly believe this then the world will see less violence towards women. A caged bird doesnt sing so sweetly. If women of all nations condemn this behaviour and speak up, then perhaps the UN will act for women in those nations. Perhaps the governments and justice systems who turn a blind eye to these criminal act will be forced to arrest and charge these men for the criminal act they have done. To do nothing and say its right because of cultural difference is wrong. No person should ever be treated in this manner, It is only when we stand up for and stand with these women that things will change. It is appalling that this is still watched by other nations or excuses made for such degrading acts. Likewise it is appalling that some agree this was acceptable. IT IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE TO PLACE YOUR HANDS UPON ANYONE TO CAUSE HARM, EMBARRASSMENT OR DEGRADE IN ANY MANNER. THERE IS NO EXCUSE EVER. A WOMAN WAS BORN TO WALK FREE... NO MATTER WHAT SHE CHOOSES TO WEAR. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO STRIP OR HARM HER. Here in AUSTRALIA WE STARTED THE SLUTWALK IN ALLIANCE WITH USA AND CANADA FOR A SIMILAR ACT. LET US UNITE AGAIN IN SUPPORT OF OUR AFRICAN SISTERS. LIKE IF INTERESTED IN A WALK AGAIN IN SUPPORT OF A WOMANS RIGHT TO WALK FREE. LIKE IF INTERESTED IN CAPITAL CITIES UNITED PROTEST WALK. Let us end this unjust and degrading behaviour of women all around the world.
