https://soundcloud/theforgottenrec/the-forgotten-029 #Interview with Lucindo. 1.- TF: First tell us, who is Lucindo and what do you consider he is giving to the Techno underground scene? Many ask why do I speak like if there are two different people, but we agree that being Lucindo Cutolo is very different the one we know as the artist. Or do you consider they are the same? L: Lucindo and Lucindo Cutolo are two good guys! Joking! Sincerely, Ive never considered to have an artist name because I already have a particular name... surely I could consider myself the only one in Naples to have this name. More than anything else Lucindo Dj is the part of me that wants to get into the game and give his contribution in music, in the techno scene and with 3TH records, but at the moment I prefer to let people talk about what Lucindo can give. 2.- TF: Where did the wish to produce electronic music wake up? Why did you defined in the Techno, Industrial and Noise styles?. L: The passion for electronic music is born playing with vinyls. I was 12 years old when one day my brother came home with a mixer, 2 turntables and a dozen of House music vinyls.I was immediately attracted from the console and I never stopped since then. But its only 3 years that I am dedicate to produce electronic music. What prompted me into production was the desire to grow as a Dj and the idea of the label made me closer and closer to the world of production. 3.- TF: What are the musical influences or artists that have influenced you in your producer career?. L: Ive already mentioned House music because at the end of the 90s and early 2000s was the trend and what was around. I grew up listening to recorded dj sets on tape by Claudio di Rocco, Dj Ralf and others, the events organized by Angels Of Love and Question Mark. I started to get close to techno wen I was 16 , I was very excited by the mixing way of djs like Jeff Mills, Dj Murphy and DJ Rush. Ive also always liked the British scene, labels such as Pounding Grooves, Sheep, Corrosion, Downwards, Counterbalance others. The comparison with my friends Ascion and D.Carbone has also greatly influenced the way I see music. 4.- TF: What software, hardwares or instruments does Lucindo use to produce such good sound? That in particular, I like so much. L: I use Ableton Live with various plugins, but Im currently evolving and Im expanding my setup. 5.- TF: Tell us a little bit of the 3TH Records, how does it emerge and what do you have in mind to give the musical culture with this project? Do you have certain alignments to sign the artists? L: I know Ascion and D. Carbone since many years, we grew up in the same group of friends and we come from the same city, we have always had this passion in common, so after years we decided to collaborate and we finally founded 3TH records. The platform is not only created to release heavy and dark techno with industrial aspects, but also with the intent of being able to experiment and look for non-trivial sounds and also kind of futuristic sometimes. 6.- TF: Do you have a certain ritual or schedule to mantain the studio and produce? L: No, I have no ritual or schedule in particular, lets say I make it just when I feel inspired. 7.- TF: What do you think about the electronic scene now a days? Do you think it´s over rated of producers and djs?. L: Today there is a lot of confusion between good music and bad music, to be honest I have no nice words about it ... and for sure yes, I think that right now the world is overcrowded of DJs, and this confuses a lot of ideas and opinion about this figure. In my opinion many Djs or producers from the new generation should not even appear in some blog and magazine. 8.- TF: A deep question for you. Do you think that the electronic music works for something for the people that hear it? For example, that this art could be helpful to mend a person? I am talking about their mental or inside state. L: Yes, I think that any kind of music, depending on the tastes of a person, can help us to feel better with ourselves and then with the people around us, the music can change our mood and this is not a simple thing. 9.- TF: What news does Lucindo have for us the next months? L: In the first half of 2015 I will release a new EP on 3TH. 10.- TF: We like a lot the feed back and comments from the one that follow, listen and participate in The Forgotten. What do you take from this experience of participating in this proyect? What do you think about it?. L: Well thank you, I am very pleased to have been involved a project where many artists, known and unknown, are able to show their quality with a mixing session, I hope you will grow more and more and that will continue forever in the name of good taste in music, you have all my support. TF: We want to thank you so much for the time you took for us, it is a pleasure having you here, and this proyect will always be open for you. Thank you
