His name was John Doe (a stage name, obviously), and while this is a country song, John Doe is best known as a founding member of the punk band X. According to Wikipedia, this version of I Will Always Love You was released on cassette in 92, but never released on CD. And now, this version of that song is EXCLUSIVELY available to sing at an F.B.I. Productions karaoke show!
