https://youtube/watch?v=CBrsWPCp_rs A fascinating documentary on quantum theory, hosted by Brian Greene. What I find most interesting is the behavior of particles in the quantum world. They behave like waves, which means that you cannot predict with certainty where precisely they will land, but if you throw a hundred of them, you can predict where particular percentages of the particles will land. Whats curious about this is that this is very similar to human persons. Give a representative sample of human beings a choice, and youll be able to make predictions of probability about the percentages that land at particular spots on the poll. In other words, both minds and quantum particles operate within a world of probabilities- I think this supports some form of pan-psychism. The behavior of the quantum world is not random, but instead operates based off the choices of the particles.
