https://youtube/watch?v=OdgNSJiWJTo Ok analysis time. First, this trailer is much better than the another one. With the first one I was scared that Megan Fox (could you seriously not find a better actress) was going to be the lead and the turtles were going to get shoved to the background. From this trailer that doesnt appear to be the case (but to be fair they could be lying but Im just analyzing the trailer that they gave me). I will say the designs of the turtles are growing on me (still pissed they decided to give Donatello glasses) and I actually like the Shredder armor now that Ive seen it in motion. That shot where Splinter is looking up at Shredder to me is beautiful and has a nice oh shit feel to it. I also like it where he just throws Raph like its nothing. The action scenes look better shot and not that shaky cam crap where you cant tell what the hell is going on. I will say though I was not really fond of the music in the last half. I have nothing against dubstep in a trailer but I think there could have been other tracks that would have been better. The choice they made sort of pulled me out of the trailer for a bit. To me the Tron Legacy trailers and the third Amazing Spider-man 1 trailer did it better. Its more of a trailer editing gripe but I do hope that the soundtrack to this movie isnt all dubstep tracks. Even if the trailer was awful I was still going to see it because I love the Ninja Turtles however this trailer has turned my fears into cautious optimism. With that said even if this movie does suck I can just go back the excellent 2012 series and erase this movie from my memory. Also at the end of the day it still wont be the worst thing to have the TMNT name on it. (Next Mutation and Coming Out of Their Shells Tour holds that honor).
