https://youtube/watch?v=P0s3EznU26k&spfreload=10 The Twilight Zone, season 2, Night of the Meek (1960)- Yes, TZ actually did a Christmas episode. Its kind of sentimental, as youd expect, but it was surprisingly well written and acted. Perhaps not surprising, actually, given the usual high calibre of this show. A department store Santa is fired for being a drunkard. He finds a magical sack which provides people with whatever present they wish. A kid wishes for a doll, they get a doll. A man wishes for a bottle of wine, he gets one. At the end of the episode, he finds himself transported to the North Pole, and becomes the real Santa! If anyone is qualified to write a Xmas ep, its Rod Serling. His writing manages to be sentimental without being corny. A good episode to watch at Christmas time.
