https://youtube/watch?v=TEVyYRMuFyk I have always felt the addiction does not define someone for who they are, it just places a temporary judgement of who we think they are. The struggle is real when it comes to addiction, I seen it for years in my security career, I held someone as they passed away from a heroine overdose, I saved a mother who was confirmed to be addicted to cocaine and she had a pacemaker, I arrested some people to only find out they ODd later that week, addiction kills, and addiction is real. Its a battle within ones mind against their spirit, against their confidence, it slowly swallows them as a whole, and believe it or not....that person you love and care for is still there...I want to see those get the help they need, as I never had the struggle of addiction...but seen those who have, and I lost a friend as well to it, and know of many more who have as well. Addiction is not a joke, it is not something that can be cured with constant verbal beatdowns and neglect, it takes patience, it takes genuine love and support...always remember the person who is addicted is loved by someone...now remind them...and help them through.
