https://youtube/watch?v=VPsqSVNNx4Q Im NOT saying this as a joke/meme-the main chord progression of this (the 2nd quarter of the chorus) is entirely identical to the main chord progression of Darudes Sandstorm (the first half of the chorus). Theyre in different keys, and there are obviously major differences in instrumentation, rhythm, style, tempo etc. but really-these parts are 100% the same harmonically. The positions (root, 1st inversion, or 2nd inversion) are different too, but even with that, the second and third chords in each are even identical position-wise, which (when preceded by the first chord) I think are the most critical chords in each in terms of their emotional effect, and the odds of that are 1 in 9. (factorial of 3*3). Since I like (no LOVE) both pieces, I think I will try to incorporate this progression into my musical, compositional vocabulary!:) Long live Jesper Kyd, and to a somewhat lesser extent Darude:)
