Sometimes, a piece may be rearranged in an unexpected way: Salvatores Sciarrinos piece, Anamorfosi is an example with its mash-up of two well known pieces, one classical written in 1900s by a French composer and the other more of a pop tune written in the 1950s by an American composer; Maurice Ravels Jeux Deau and Singin in the Rain made famous by Gene Kelly are blended together quite seamlessly in Sciarrinos work. This rendition is played by Marc-Andre Hamelin, a pianist originally from Montreal as an encore at one of his concerts. Enjoy!
