And its either going to work for you or its going to work against you. You choose which side youre going to be on. Theres more blackness out there than there is anything else... theres 75% dark matter. What are you worried about? I realize that there are issues. We get judged on our skin but I dont allow that to run my life. I dont live my life trying to be Black. What I do is nurture my curiosity and use it. Im proud to be where I am. The new Black is a mentality. You dont do things because youre Black. You do things because youre genuinely interested in them. Is there a lot of Black inequality? Absolutely, but Im the main one waving the flag. Dont find your confidence in a color. Find your confidence in the mirror. Thoughts on this quote/interview?
