The nazis who stole and plundered their victims when they returned home found their homes inhabited by someone else. one man spent years of his life dismantling a home untill it was a ruin uninhabitable looking for the lost treasure. the bible says that the wealth of the sinners are laid up for the just, and that the peacemakers shall inhabit the earth in the new kingdom that the Lord sets up. We are supposed to lay up for ourselves treasure in heaven where rust and moth do not corrupt or theives break through and steal. And jesus says that we are to use our wealth down here to gain friends so that when we are received into eternal habitations we will be received. If this life is just a drop in the bucket compared with eternity, and we are just pilgrims just passing through this life to the next, then why do we hoard up for ourselves riches and honour in this life as though e can take them with us when we die? we cant, they are useless. shouldnt we rather sell all that we have and give to the poor? or like the first church lay it at the apostles feet for distribution to the needy? If we die for the lord we are finished with our sin. what if we knew the exact timing of the great tribulation and we knew the day of our Lords return? would we not do what we could and having eyes of faith on the eternal things of God do the same? time is short, and scripture is being fullfilled before our eyes, wake up church? stop making your churches beautifull. focus on what really matters, the time of the gentiles is about to be fulfilled. And the millenium reign of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ is almost here. do you still opress the poor? do you still still turn a blind eye to the needy? Rev 22 v 10 - 16 And he said unto me (john) Do not seal the words of the prophesy of this Book (reveleation) , because the time is near. The one acting unjustly, let him still act unjustly; and the filthy, let him still be filthy, and the righteous, let him do righteousness; and the one holy let him still be holy. And behold , I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each as his work is. I am alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the Ending, the first (adam) and the last (adam). Blessed are the ones doing His (Gods) commands, that their authority will be over the tree of life, and by the gates they may enter into the city (the new Jerusalem). But outside!
