Bolden witnessed Secret Service Agents on duty, pick up women, Agents on duty too drunk to walk. Boldens fears were realized when Secret Service Agents in Dallas were found to have been boozing all night. Bolden was also subjected to racism from agents who did not like the fact he was working alongside them. They put a noose above his desk, called him “N!**!r” to his face, boasted they would never protect JFK because he was a “N!**!r” lover and set him up in an effort to silence Boldens whistle blowing.
