Being a fellow songwriter i spend most of my time focusing on the core of the music that is in todays world, mainly the individuals who write the music and how their experiences have shaped their ability to create the music that they do. What many people dont know is that behind your favorite country stars, rock stars, etc. is a songwriter who has helped make them famous with music they have created. Although you dont know Travis, Im sure you have heard Riser by Derks Bently, and Jake Owens new song What We Aint Got, both songs written by Travis. Cant wait for this one to hit the mainstream media because its such a powerful song. Always remember to give credit where it is deserved, and especially to artists who create their own music and are fortunate enough to be recognized for it, Kip Moore for example ;) take a listen and if you find yourself so inclined, pass it along. :D
