The queen is the head of State of 16 countries at the moment (whether you like it or not) only one of which is the UK so there goes our queen. Pound sterling is a fully tradeable currency and can be used by anyone and there is literally nothing the remainder of the UK could or would want to do about it. On top of that we used the (Scots) pound before the Union so it harldy belongs just to England. The bbc thing is just absolutely pathetic if there is a demand for shows they would be bought from the bbc to show on the Scottish equivalent, unless people are seriously suggesting the remainder of the UK would build a massive wall at the border with guardposts and minefields and refuse to sell tv shows to us out of spite...
