Gifts of the Kalahari is a bush-camping mobile safari program that will take you to all the places of interest in Botswana with possible excursions to Victoria Falls in Zambia. You select a package or design a custom tour to see the sights, flora and fauna of BOTSWANA. We also do night drives (if you like) to see nocturnal wildlife and these will be in private hunting concessions. One of our specialties is birding tours: specially designed for bird watching with one of Botswanas top birders as your guide. At your option, we do cultural tours: camping at Community Trust areas where the campsite belongs to the (local) community and a portion of the trip expenses support community initiatives. For accommodation we use two man bow-tents (canvas) 2.4 m x 2.4 m, for sleeping gear its bedrolls with mattress, duvet and pillows. A dinning table, a small table, a trailer for luggage, a kitchen light, spot light for night drives and a 4.2 Toyota Land Cruiser modified for Safari with a guide and a chef. Self-Catering Safaris: Its where by our guests bring their own tents, food & sleeping equipment and set up camp and cook for themselves. We provide a 4x4 vehicle and a guide, but no chef. Luxury Safaris: 4x4 vehicle and guide and make all arrangements with lodges. Specialty Safaris: offers you the opportunity to design your own safari according to your special interests, such as birding and Photographers, This is where by we provide our guest with 2.4m x 2.4m Canvas tents, food, game drives, two tables, one small table, mattress, sleeping gear bedrolls with duvets and pillows, two 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers, one Vehicle for luggage with staff and the other one for guest with a birds specialist guide.
