i abhor violence yet i have been known to be violent ... i can still abhor violence even though i contain violence ... i am so affected by a small 5 minute clip i watched on the slaughterhouse ... it is a violent universe ... violence has been here since life began to move from place to place ... lava flows; rivers burst their banks ... wind stirs up ... endlessly .... on and on .... beasts eat other beasts ... this all does not mean that i cannot seek peace in my heart yet be aware we are not peaceful beings ... contrast .... contrast heightens awareness ... peace in your day may you find ... ^ ^ OM AH HUM AND if you think by being a veggie you do not kill life think again .... is life in degrees ... i am not sure ..... i know how violence makes me feel ~ it hurts .... either my own or other ... OM GATE GATE PARAGATE PARASAMGATE BODHI sva ha ~ most everything is a work in progress ~ be oh so patient with your psyche ... good morning fellow travellers on the path of LIFE ...
