i do not understand why some mothers would plant hatred on their childrens hearts against the fathers. if things did not go right between the parents, they should leave the children out of it. i had probably been to worst with my ex-husband. i was a battered, cheated, and abandoned pregnant wife. i even had to send him to jail just to stop the misery and save whats left with me. i hated his family for condoning him in doing me wrong. but every christmas in the last four years, i would send my son to spend the holidays with them because i believe that my son needs his father and deserves all the love he can get--even those from the people i dislike. ...and that my personal biases shouldnt get in the way towards his happiness, even if that meant putting aside my pride and ego. i am blessed to have gotten such forgiving heart from my mom.
