i dont know what to say in reference to the question what is the most magical place you have ever visited. here are a few off the top of my head not yet in any particular order: - the jersey pine barrens. pitch black water and blazing white sand. verdant young moss and craggily shaped old man pine trees. abandoned-ness in the midst of verdant fertility. - iceland - well, cant get much better than the majority of the population believing in the existence of elves. then there is the crazy lunar landscape punctuated by volcanic outcroppings and the moss - again with the moss - but in this case its like 1 to 2 foot deep cushy moss. who can not think that laying on a 1 to 2 foot cushion of moss isnt magical? also, if you go in august its basically 100% daytime and if you go in January its 100% nighttime. Also, when its time for the little puffins to hatch all the little kids go out and collect the puffins that are headed towards their local towns streetlights and instead throw them over the cliffs into the ocean. which sounds bad but its not really because thats what the moms do anyway. - Prague - one of the oldest major cities in europe to have not been a battleground in aq major war since for ages - so, like, you can go to the main square and look at it and it pretty much looks just like it did a thousand plus a bunch years ago. - key largo under my boat - snorkel and goggles = $12 = priceless. - all up and down west coast highway 1 - its the place they film all those windy coastal car commercials - of course its magical. - and finally!!!! that one time there was this giant 300 tent anarchist village on the side of city hall for a couple months and everything kind of sort of worked out okay given the number of people and the organized climate against it.
