He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida and a diploma of arts from Santa Fe College. Machel also holds a certificate from the IHUB Mlab: Africa’s first mobile incubation digital hub. He is a commercial pilot, former Kenya airways employee with over 2000 hours on the Boeing 737 and 767 Jets. Machel began his career as a pilot trainee in Kenya airways in 2005 and was promoted to be a first Officer (FO) six months later. After flying the Boeing 737 and 767 jets for 5 years, Machel quit his lucrative flying career to concentrate on his entrepreneurial endeavors. He decided to focus on the company that he founded in 2006 called Blackstar Entertainment where he sits on the board of directors
