i get so frustrated with the way media encourages women to be nowadays. shows like The Real Housewives of Orange County are just absolutely appalling to me. it is NOT normal for women to act (and dress, for that matter) like overgrown, snot-nosed, spoiled high school girls. they are classless, gossipy, overdramatic, manipulative, wicked-hearted women, and its gross! this is NOT the example we should be setting for our younger sisters, friends and daughters. i dont know about yall but its my goal to become the best version of Melissa Sue that I know how to be, with Gods help. i strive to be a woman of integrity, hard work, honesty (even when it hurts), responsibility, gentleness, patience, generosity & kindness. i want to learn how better to love and take care of others, and to make every situation i enter better in my own way with the gifts ive been equipped with. i dont at all strive to be a plastic-looking, designer bag carrying, car-i-cant-afford-driving, husband-disrespecting housewife! BLEH.
