i just have to say this, i tried not to but it is driving me crazy!!!!! though i too think shopping on thanksgiving is crazy but i also think it is just as crazy if not more on black friday. that being said all of you people saying it is sooo unfair the poor workers. here is my question where are nurses, doctors and aides any jobs in hospitals on thanksgving? where are the convientant store workers on thanksgiving? where are many on people who have to work on holidays, take turns and such. these people are in these positions, they have to work, it stinks my children and i have all worked on holdays. all i am saying this is new with thanksgiving for many but i think you are all forgetting about the other jobs that people have that have always worked on this and many holidays. some people dont care and want to work because they get more money. if you want to keep saying dont shop, then also dont get sick, dont go to er, dont call the police or ambulancce, 911 would also like to be home, please do not forget you need something and go to a convientant store, if you are traveling fill your car up and put xtra gas in your car, dont use the turnpike, do not go on a plane, boat train subway or bus all those people deserve to be home too, oh turn the tv off no shows people have work there so you get tv, no football either. ok that is my rant, thanks lol. please instead of these posts saying dont shop that wont change a thing, thank all the people that have to work to support their families no matter what it is, it isnt fair for anyone unless they like it. so many people are working and always have.
