i just watched some piece of crap called The Maze Runner. What a failure of story telling. :::::::::::::::SPOILER ALERT::::::::::: In the future the sun has burnt the earth into a cinder (but everyone can breath fine so its ok). And at the same time this horrible virus shows up that you can only get if someone directly injects it into you via a giant robot spider so how the hell it would really become a massive plague that was a big problem is beyond comprehension. But wait theres more! so the only way to cure the virus (again nobody gets it unless a giant robot spider stabs you with it), is to erase childrens memories, lock them in a mechanical maze filled with giant spiders that can give them the virus. The only way out of the maze? You have the kill one of the giant spiders, dig through its guts, and find the key. Why do this? We dont know.....its only phase 1 and im sure theyll never make the sequel to this steaming pile of garbage. Think Lord of the Flies, meets No Escape, meets The Cube. How on earth a group of teenagers with spears took years to figure out they could just kill one of the robot spiders by stabbing it in its one vulnerable spot its soft brain thats right there in the front part, also, beyond comprehension. First thing most people would do dont you think? oh look a monster......i have this spear and a machete.....nah ill just stand here The maze? the maze wasnt even that big. Its like the size of downtown pittsburgh. You could just walk across it in an hour. WTF?
