i know it has been a while since i updated on things around here. last thursday, jerry had his port put in and got his 1st round of chemo. he has had a pretty rough last couple of days with the side effects, but being the strong person that he is, he has done his best to not complain. last thursday when the treatment process started, was a very emotional day for us, as things became really--REAL---now, we are telling each other every day---one day at a time. we had to make the trip to springfield today for his check up with the hand surgeon. was so glad when we got back from that trip. there are so many people that we are grateful to have in our lives and we can never fully express our gratitude to you all, whether it has been your caring words and prayers, just being there for us or anything that you may be doing towards helping out with the benefit on the 31st---thank you from the bottom of our hearts. hugs to all.
