i read a friends post about the cruelty of elephant rides…i wanted to read up on this as my daughter REALLY wanted to ride an elephant..while treatment of these beautiful creatures at many establishments are not the best, many advocates also argue there may be a place for elephant tourism if done correctly. Asian elephant numbers are dropping at an alarming rate with much of their natural habitat destroyed. They are expensive to keep and the people that they share their land with are not necessarily in an economic position to help them, unless they become a form of income. so i found this place..maybe a possible way forward??
