i really wish that when these companies hire people that they would at least pay people for their first day at the end of that day, especially when they plan to withhold the first week. i met 2 young kids today who started yesterday who were sitting in the lunch room with nothing to eat. i didnt think nothing of it at first until i overheard someone offer them some money, which they refused. i just cannot stand to sit by and watch someone go hungry. i waited a few and then asked them if they wanted to try my homemade trail mix and thank goodness they did. i talked to a couple other women there and explained their situation and we decided that i will bring sandwiches and they are bringing chips and cokes for them tomorrow. may even pack up some more trail mix. and if theyd gotten paid for their first day, they could afford to eat. i just hope they have enough gas to get them through.
