... i want to go back to my childhood, when it comes to packaging ... bread in a paper bag, butter wrapped in paper, cheese wrapped in paper, meats wrapped in paper, potatoes straight into the bag, fresh veg wrapped in paper .... sounds strange, but i find when most people get home, they unwrap all the shopping and put in tupperware or gladwrap ... and bin the plastic it comes in ..... plastic is 1000yr degradeable, some is recycled .... paper is 100% biodegradeable, can be 100% recycled, as can its origin (if it takes 100yrs for a good oak tree to grow - i could grow 10 oak trees before one piece of plastic degrades) ... surely paper is more GREEN than plastic? ... most of all .... i definately miss fish n chips in paper, soaked in vinegar (with real potato chips) :D haha .. i often think progress doesnt necessarily mean better ....
