i was given a #8, so here goes: I was named Norma after Norma Shearer, a popular movie star at that time, and Rose after my Mama. I was a Daddys girl. Toncils removed at age two, appendix at ten, and infected with lice at eleven (the lice experience repelled and mortified me). It is difficult accepting things that I find deplorable so strive to accept negative things that have happened or cannot be changed and to then forgive. Sometime I succeed, and sometime it is a constant struggle. I have a loving heart and am sensitive to misfortune of people I know and love and those that I dont know. I cry over a sad movie, book, song or distressing news and wish I could make the sadness or grief disappear. My political and moral views are conservative and I am pro-life. I worry about the future of our country and the world. Prayers are for mans inhumanity to man to cease. Constant goal and concern is to remain independent. Profound faith sustains me, and my favorite saint is Saint Anthony, patron saint of lost things and miracles. Son, Jacks middle name is Anthony in his honor. I believe in angels, and my guardian angels name is Rosanna. Famous spiritual song is Ave Maria and favorite tenor is Luciano Pavarotti. Have a strong work ethic and can do attitude. I believe in merits of higher education. Some of my passions are reading, drawing, creative writing, classical music, opera, and at the top of the list, family togetherness. When I was a young girl I had aspirations of becoming an artist or dress designer. Deepest desire was to become a mother, and when Anna and Jack were born, I felt God blessed me with the greatest of His gifts. Now, I have three grandchildren to cherish. And, all of my doggies are well loved for they are my doggie children. My hearts desire and focus is first and foremost on family, and it all began with wonderful parents and brothers. Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs was a childhood favorite and still is. When little, I pretended to be Snow White and sing Some Day My Prince Will Come, off key of course. Finally after he came three times in my life, I decided I was done with that dream. I cant carry a tune, nor am I comfortable learning new dance steps. But, I do have a vivid imagination.
