A feeling of contentment or self-satisfaction, especially when coupled with an unawareness of danger, trouble, or controversy. 2. An instance of contented self-satisfaction One thing that we are continually warned about in scripture is to not get too comfortable, content, and complacent. Romans 13:11-12 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Matthew 24:43-44 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Many times in life, if we would really think about it, we would find ourselves walking around asleep in the spirit realm …ITS TIME TO SHAKE OURSELVES LOOSE…wake up and smell the monster energy drink, throw it in the trash and drink some Holy Ghost and get ready for the harvest.
