iPOD OF THE DAY Sweet City Woman...STAMPETERS This was a trophy song for a band from Calgary,Alberta, Canada where they picked up the Juno Award for best single of the year...the Juno Award is the Canadian version of the Grammy. Although the band was very successful in Canada charted numerous songs, this was their only US hit making the TOP 10 in 1971. One unique feature of this rock is its one of the few regularly-played tunes having a banjo as its primary instrument.
