idiocracy. race isnt the issue here. he had a gun!!! he fired three times! the police would have shot back no matter the color of his skin. that cop did his job. if the suspect had been unarmed then it would have been acompletely diffrent story. im black, ive seen black people being gunned down, being abused, and not being able to defend themselves. and it is not right, and it is in fact something that we as a nation need to rise above. but, if a man, a man armed with a gun, fires three shots at an officer then the officer is entitled to fire back. god grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. burning flags will only cause more pain and more hatred. how can we continue to strive as the land of the free when every time we turn around police are accused of hate crimes, rapists are being set free due to over populated jails but people are prosecuted over marijuana, companies like redbull are being sued-- not for the harmful chemicals were consuming, but-- for a false slogan. we are ruining our country one idiotic assumption at a time. all of you who feel like you deserve more, but arent willing to actually work for it. you sit around waiting for the next payday opportunity. you are responsible weakening us. you are giving the real enemies, (those countries that have threatened us with bombs and war) a chance to see us crumble. and they would love nothing more than to kick us while were down. we as americans need to stand tall, all races, hand in hand. and show them that we are strong. that we as a nation are unbreakable. that despite all the pain, heartach, and suffering we have felt, we love our country.
