if there is one thing i hate, is when there are a buttload of students begging the teacher to be more lenient, to smile more, to be more encouraging. I know that sometimes its not always fun to have a teacher who doesnt smile much or laugh... but if theyre there to teach and youre there to learn, dont turn this into a social gathering. Theyre not there to make you feel comfortable, theyre not their to baby you, ESPECIALLY college professors. So many of these teachers have to put up with ALOT of different students, PLUS the emotional stress and daily personal lives.... so no I dont need a teacher to smile at me or laugh with me to make me more comfortable, Im there to learn not make friends.... dont complain making it seem like its the teachers fault that you want a nicer teacher. They are not there to spoon feed you... youre there for a reason, stop trying to derail the blame on the teacher. ://// UGH
