if you have ever seen stargate Sg-1 season 9 episode 15 where Prometheus is hit 3 times by a ori beam weapon in orbit i have a few serious question about this episode 1.after the ori beam weapon speared the Prometheus with forward shields over charged Kam tells the Col. that it can only track one target why not launch all fighters? and not just blue squadron i mean Prometheus had 2 launch bays 6 fighters per bay 1 squads per side F-302s are 2 crew fighters so there are 24 men women who would have lived and plus there is 2x the firepower to throw at the Satellite so why not launch all 12? and now #2 the F-302s were built from scratch using human Tec and knowledge from Gould ships so why didnt they work up some kind of shuttle or assault boat to carry troops to the surface and yes i know thats what the beam and rings are for but what happens if they the ship takes damage and they dont work? i mean even captured Gould cargo ships as assault ships for boarding party s or planetary landings not to mention escape craft that has FTL engines but why not design and build one of their own? i think thats a big plot hole what do you think?
