im so excited. going to fulfill a life long dream tonight of seeing The Pointer Sisters perform. verizon theater...only 1000 tickets sold, i hear...sadly, no one cares. remember being 10 when their album Breakout came out 30 years ago and hearing Jump, Im So Excited, and Automatic on the radio...as well as Neutron Dance which was also on the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack. such exciting stuff to me that ended up being primary fuel making my music what it is today. as a bonus Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins, key influences on my sound as well, are on the bill. as an EXTRA bonus, i get to experience this with Tara and good buddies Dave Karnes and Jorts Richardson. whew! like i said, im so excited. gonna flip on on the front row.
