im weird when it comes to anime. ill watch both english dubbed and english subbed. i can switch to subbed if i watch english dubbed first but i cant switch from subbed to dubbed. for example i watched the first episode of pokemon origins and english and episode 2 in japanes and didnt have an issue. i watched death note in japanese first and when i tied watching it in english i didnt like it. i kinda freaked out and said their voices sound weird in english and had to switch back to japanese. but either way i can watch anime fully in any language and be content.
