in ricordo di Vincenzo Pontieri. Ieri era il 2 Novembre e in Italia, in questa data, si ricordano le persona care che ci hanno lasciato. io voglio ricordare ancora il nostro caro amico Vincenzo che ci ha lasciati alcuni giorni fa. lo voglio fare tirando fuori un brano registrato con lo stesso Vncenzo parecchi anni fa. Si chiama Sleep, ed é una delle prime canzoni che ho mai scritto e registrato . vi é molta ingenuitá nel mio modo di cantare, la canzone vi sembrerá ingenua, con un tocco di arrangiamento beatlesiano, essendo prodotta da Mike hurley, Dougie Meakin, e afranco Di Stefano,. É una piccola danzone damore ...ma difetti a parte... é un bel ricordo. E comunque sono ancora molto contento del testo scritto, che potete trovare quá sotto.. É stata registrata con i favolosi blacknight, con il sontuoso Marco Trojano alle tastiere, il funambolico Cristian Murasecchi, alla chitarra, lelegante Diego Magnani al basso ...e ovviamente ... il magico Vincenzo alla batteria. la ricordo perché vi é una storia dietro...La canzone fu scritta nella casa al mare ... di Vincenzo... che mi aveva prestato la casa. E nacque guardando dormire la fanciulla di cui ero molto innamorato. Quindi grazie alla generositá di Vincenzo ho vissuto alcuni dei piú felici giorni della mia vita... e grazie a quella felicitá...nacque la prima canzone vera e propria che ho mai scritto e registrato. dedicata a Vincenzo e a tutti voi che avete amato Vincenzo che era un uomo pieno di amore...e generositá... non vi é nulla di meglio per ricordarlo ...che amare il piú possibile tutte le persone che ci sono care... con generositá e tenerezza. non dimentichiamo mai il suo esempio. dedicata alla band di Vincenzo, i grandi Blacknight, amici e fratelli per tutta la vita... e sopratutto dedicata a tutta la famiglia Pontieri a Teresa, e ai suoi 2 meravigliosi figli, Maria Chiara e Giuseppe (mi raccomando la batteria Giuseppe). vi vogliamo bene ...e vi saremo sempre vicini... Yesterday it was November 2nd. In Italy, on this day, we honour the memory of our beloved ones that we lost. I want to honour again the memory of our great friend Vincenzo, who passed awaw just a few days ago. I want to do it with a song we recorded together many years ago. its alittle love song... but its a great memory anyway. I hope everybody will forgive the flaws and ingenuity of my singing. first times in the recording studios... a lot to learn. it is a little love song ...but it is a great memory...and I have to say that I still like a lot the lyrics of the songs. it was recorded with an amazing band... blacknight! with some fabulous musicians. Marco Trojano, Cristian Murasecchi, Diego Magnani, ... and of course ... the great Vincenzo Pontieri on drums. There is also another reason for remembering him with this song. it is the story behind the song... The song was written at Vincenzos house at the beach of Torvaianica. it was written watching the girl I was in love with, while she was sleeping... So thanks to Vincenzo.. I spent some of the happiest days of my life...and as a consequence of these emotions... my first song was born and recorded. So it is a very imoortant memory for me, and a another proof of Vincenzo great generosity and friendship. Dedicated to Vincenzo... and to all of you who loved him. He was a man full of love and generosity. and the best way to honour him is to follow his example and love unconditionally all the people we care about.
