inseconline.org/index.php?type=news&id=12387&lang=en Youth Force to Deploy Cadres in CA Elections Morang/August 17 Youth Association Nepal (YAN ), the sister organization of the CPN-UML, has announced that it would be deploying its cadres in every polling booth during the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections scheduled for November 19. YAN Chairperson, Mahesh Basnet announced the intension during his address at a corner meeting at Birat Chok on August 18 adding the two-day meeting of YAN had endorsed the plan. Its central member Rabin Thapa informed that male and female wings of the Youth Force would be mobilized in the coming days. The national Women Assembly being held in Dharan on August 18 will announce the Female wing of Youth Force would be announced. The second central meeting of YAN , which concluded on August 17, agreed to the concept of ‘every booth, effective youth’ to deploy cadres in voting areas. A committee consisting of 1,787 members has been formed for overseeing the deployment, YAN informed. The UCPN -M’s youth wing, Young Communist League (YCL), is also deploying 200 members in each polling station during the elections.
