is still catching up on his 30 Days of Thanks! Day 7 - Im thankful for The Beatles. Not only are they my favorite musical artist(s) of all time, theyre also (for those keeping score) the BEST Band Ever. Without them, wed still be listening to rockabilly, blues, jazz, old school country, classical, easy listening, or at best, early rhythm and blues, Jerry Lee Lewis, or surf music. Without them, I COULDNT be thankful for all the great stuff that followed, including The Monkees, Boston, KISS, Jeff Lynne and so many of my other favorite acts who were DIRECTLY influenced by the fabs. So much of what rock and roll still is wouldnt exist without John, Paul, George, Ringo, and the other George. So many of our collective memories are tied to their songs. And my life would have been so, so much darker without them.
