islamicly, you haver to OBSERVE the moon. predicting the moon is not allowed...because: masudblog/?p=1101 also atmospheric phenomena is also INCLUDED in the islamic system, if it is cloudy and you cant see the moon physicly with human eye ball mk1... then....Islamicly. the moon is not sighted. you cant use callendrs, because their based on method of projecting the shedule from previus observations. so....as per current understanding, the projected callender is made. there might exist phenomena science has not yet discovered, such as mars starting to spin the wrong way around all of a sudden.... all callenders of mars which where in existence previus to 2004....where thus incorect. because they could not have predicted that mars will start spinning the wrong way around all of a sudden hence tippling the shedule of sunrise/star times and their trajectry in sky on its head. similarly, unforseen phenomena can effect the shedule of the moon. ALLAH swt can change is anytime HE desires. thus....it has to be observed by human eyeball mk1...
