it is very easy to criticize the role of indian army for the situation of kashmir today.it is a favourite discussion topic among the intellectuals,mainstream media and popular cinema.this film reinforces our prejudice against indian army.nothing else is far from truth.we all have a very confusing vague idea on kasmir.lets put some facts.after the british rule ended two dominions of india and pakistan was formed with seperate territories for each.immediately after 1947 -1948 regular paki army and mercenaries attacked indian state kasmir and captured what today is called Pak occupied kasmir comprising more than half of kasmir.the pakis committed horrific brutal heinous rape and plunder of local kasmiri people mostly pundits.their brutalities though properly documented but never detailed in popular news.the maharaja of kasmir hari singh signed a treaty of accession with union of india and the merger of entire kasmir with india was absolute and irreversible.the paki ruling class never accepted the merger and made kasmir issue their lifeline to avoid domestic troubles.three wars in 1965,1971,1999 were fought but no change .z a bhutto his daughter benzir bhutto recently bilwa bhutto raise slogans to capture entire kasmir from india. the present wave of terrorism started in 1989 when benzir bhutto promised her paki people to capture entire kasmir.she actively armed and financed the local terrorist groups.these terrorists started brutal killings rape and plunder of local kasmiris mostly kasmiri pundits.around 2 million minority kasmiri pundits fled kasmir overnight to save themselves from these paki supported terrorists.under the above circumstances indian army entered kasmir to save the remaining territory and prevent the situation of 1947-1948.if indian army did not enter kasmir entire kasmir would fall to pakistan.the popular cinema never showed us the atrocities and rape committed by paki supported terrorists in 1947-1948,the cinema never showed the plight of 2 million kasmiri pundits who fled from kasmir after 1989.the cinema never showed us the ungratefulness of bangladeshis who got their independence because of india,cinema never shows persecution and plight of minorities in bangladesh and pakistan,popular cinema never showed us the brutalities committed by razaker army of nizam of hyderabad.the nizam during 1947,1948,1949 also claimed independence from india and ordered his razaker army to eliminate everyone who opposed his claim of independence.later nizams razaker army was contained by indian army. the reason is, it is because it is politically incorrect and it may enrage some people.indian establishment and army is a very easy target to criticize .it is also quite fashionable also to criticize our own army and establishment.it makes you a true intellectual,liberal,learned ,secular genius.
