it was a beautiful day to work on the car, so i finally tackled my vacuum hose issue on my 86t. found out the pump isnt working. its pulling 12 volts, but wont do a damned thing. i decided to bypass it for now while im looking for a new one and just run tees off the intake so i could get rid of the infamous defroster heat before summer. now my cruise works and i have cool air coming from all of my vents, but i have NO heat, regardless of the climate control selection. if i understand correctly, theres a loss of vacuum during boost, hence the need for the pump, and im willing to deal with that until i find another tank, provided im not hurting anything by running off the engine vacuum. i have the cruise and actuators running off one tee to the front of the intake, and the water cock off of another at the back. any ideas?
