ive started several Robin Williams films while editing tonight. nope. cant do it. the tears start to fall each time, no matter which film I choose. as they say, comedy and tragedy are the oldest brothers. since i heard of his death, i have not stopped thinking about it. his contagious smile and laughter shaped me in ways I dont think I ever fully realized, regretfully until his passing. i wont claim to know the nature of the darkness he lived in, all the while comforting or concealing himself in the humor and spontaneity of life while helping others to laugh and smile, both young and old. but i do know I share in that darkness, and to be honest, it terrifies me. this isnt a plea for attention or a cry for help, this is to let you know if you share in that darkness, youre not alone, and your existence matters. ill leave you with this, my favorite movie scene of all time. https://youtube/watch?v=qM-gZintWDc
