joining in prayer remembering those who lost their lives to terrorists, the families shattered, as we approach that day in September etched in our minds..... Ps 91Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a] And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday ~ thank You Lord, for as we trust in You, regardless of what happens to our flesh, we know where our spirit will be. Help us to see other things that shatter and destroy, like idols, things that take the place of You in our life, things we place ahead of You and Your Word, thoughts and bitterness that is harbored and separates, isolation and indifference.... rend our hearts Lord, rend our hearts... forgive us for giving things prominence over a relationship with You. Help us to be a nation, a people who desire to walk in Your will, Your way. that we might see Your salvation... when we call upon You, You answer, You will be with us in trouble, and deliver us. We ask for the interjection of Your Wisdom over the choices our leaders and those of other nations, are facing... we pray for the infiltration of Your Word, of Jesus the Christ, and the power of Your Holy Spirit over their discussions, their round tables, their whispers, dreams and charts. we continue to ask for covering over our military, their actions and steps, as well as for healing and deliverance in Jesus Name. for the lonely, widowed, those who have lost children... dealing with trauma, walking through the motions of life... we pray for help to navigate, to see there is hope... for the lonely, help them to get involved somewhere, to start thinking of others, to see that the road out of lonely takes effort and choice each day. Draw them to know more of You, to find themselves in Your Word.. for the widowed, help them to walk through the steps of grief, to let the other go, for some they need a nudge to move their loved ones clothing out of their home.. You are the God of all comfort, You are with the widowed and orphaned, and promised to be the husband to the husbandless and father to the fatherless... we pray for friends to surround, encourage and sometimes just be with these in need. thank YOU for Your favor that rests upon us, for meeting the needs on these boards and for Your Love... in Jesus Name amen ~
